Shantra Wayne was named Chief Financial Officer for Apex Hospital Katy and Texas Medical Center. Prior to joining Apex, she served as Chief Financial Officer for HealthSouth Hospital of Hospital, a 79-bed long-term acute care hospital, where she was engaged in strategic and business planning, regulatory compliance, and accounting. She also held several management positions with HCA from 1996 to 2002, where she was responsible for a wide range operational and leadership initiatives. Shantra earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Southern University, Baton Rouge, LA.
